Kling AI: free credits, daily limits and watermark

Kling AI is free to try with daily login credits that reset at 24:00, but free exports carry a watermark, and 1080p, watermark removal, fast-track and video extension are premium-only. Kling doesn't publish a fixed daily credit number. Extra credits cost $1 = 66 credits. For the most free clips a day, use Google Flow. Use Kling for realistic image-to-video.

Is Kling OK for commercial use?

Read the terms before you use Kling output for clients or ads. Section 4.6 of Kling's Terms of Service says that without Kling's written permission you may not use the Output “for any commercial purposes”. The paid-service terms page didn't render readable text when we checked, so we can't confirm what a paid plan changes. Ask Kling support, or check the membership page in the app, before commercial use.

Get the most from Kling free

  1. Log in every day. Per the Credits Policy, login credits are issued on your first login each day and reset at 24:00.
  2. Use the shortest clip that works. Kling 4.0 goes up to 30 seconds per generation. Test a short shot first, and only go long once the prompt works.
  3. Use it for image-to-video. Kling's own guide starts from an uploaded image. Describe one subject move and one camera move.
  4. Failed generations are refunded, so retry a failed job instead of rewriting it.
  5. Need a clean export for $0? Kling free is watermarked. See the no-watermark options or use Google Flow with the visible toggle off.

How long can a Kling video be?

Kling says Kling 4.0 makes 3 to 30 seconds per generation and Kling 3.0 up to 15 seconds. Kling 4.0 Video Extension can reach a total of 2 minutes.
