AI video rate limits and daily caps

The main AI video limits are daily or monthly credit caps, parallel-job limits and peak-hour rules. Google Flow gives everyone 50 credits a day, but free users may be blocked from video around 2–5 PM UTC. Runway allows 5–20 parallel jobs on paid plans. Many vendors don't publish exact limits, and we mark those below.

What to do when you hit a limit

  1. Flow says you can't generate video? If you're on the free tier between about 2 and 5 PM UTC, wait until after peak hours or make images until then.
  2. Out of daily credits? Flow's 50 credits reset every day. Kling's login credits reset at 24:00. Neither rolls over.
  3. Stuck in a queue? On Hailuo's free plan you get 1 job running and 3 queued. Wait for one to finish before you submit more.
  4. Need more at once? Parallel limits go up with paid plans: Runway allows 5 to 20 jobs, and Pika allows 2 videos up to unlimited.
  5. Budget first. Before you upgrade, see how to stretch free credits and how to cut spend.
