Free AI video generators with no watermark

Only three free paths give you video with no visible watermark: Pika (its Free plan lists “No watermark”, but has 0 monthly credits, so you buy packs), Google Flow (a visible-watermark toggle, but every clip carries invisible SynthID), and Wan 2.2 on your own GPU (Apache 2.0, no vendor mark). Kling, Runway, PixVerse, Hailuo and HeyGen all watermark free exports.

Visible watermark vs invisible SynthID

There are two kinds of watermark. A visible watermark is a logo burned into the corner of the video that viewers can see. An invisible watermark, like Google's SynthID, is embedded in the pixels. Viewers can't see it and Google says it doesn't change quality, but tools can detect it. “No watermark” on most free tiers really means “no visible logo”.

How to check a clip is really clean

  1. Export one short test clip at the resolution you'll publish, before you plan a whole video around a tool.
  2. Watch the corners full-screen on a phone and on a desktop. Visible marks usually sit bottom-right.
  3. For Google output, upload the clip to Gemini and ask if it was made with Google AI. Google says Gemini, Search and Chrome can check for SynthID.
  4. Don't crop or blur out a vendor's visible watermark. That usually breaks the tool's terms. Upgrade or switch tools instead.
  5. Label realistic AI video where the platform asks you to, whether or not it carries a watermark.

FAQ

Is there a free AI video generator with no watermark?

Yes, with catches. Pika lists “No watermark” on its Free plan, but the plan has 0 monthly credits, so you buy packs, and it has no commercial license. Google Flow lets you control its visible watermark, but every clip carries invisible SynthID. Running Wan 2.2 on your own GPU adds no vendor watermark.

Does Google Veo add a watermark?

All Flow output from Veo, Omni and Nano Banana carries an invisible SynthID watermark. A visible watermark is controlled by the “Visible watermarking” toggle under your profile picture, and it's applied automatically in India, South Korea and Vietnam unless you're on Google One AI Ultra 20x, per Google Flow Help.

Is SynthID a watermark viewers can see?

No. Google DeepMind says SynthID is imperceptible to people and doesn't change image or video quality, but it can be detected by SynthID tools, including in Gemini, Search and Chrome.

Does Kling's free plan have a watermark?

Yes. Kling's Credits Policy lists watermark removal as a premium-only function.

Is Wan really watermark-free?

The official Wan 2.2 code runs on your own machine, and its README doesn't mention adding a watermark. The license is Apache 2.0, and the Wan team says it claims no rights over your generated content. You still need a strong GPU: about 24GB of VRAM for the 5B model at 720p.
